OPERATING MODEL

From first contact to delivery, invoice and payment.

A visible operating map helps both teams understand who does what, when approvals happen, how work is quality-checked and how billing is reconciled. Legal decisions remain with the client’s authorized lawyers.

BILLING CYCLE

Commercial control points

Hourly engagement

Approved time entries are captured against the agreed task or matter code, reviewed for completeness, summarized for the billing period and invoiced at the contracted rates.

Fixed-project engagement

Milestones and acceptance criteria are agreed in advance. Invoices are issued at the contractual milestone or schedule, with changes handled through written change control.

Monthly managed service

Monthly scope, capacity and reporting are confirmed; agreed recurring fees and approved variable items are reconciled; performance and invoice questions are reviewed on a defined cadence.

All prices, currency, taxes, billing frequency, due dates, expenses, pilot terms, acceptance criteria and late-payment terms must be confirmed in the signed agreement. This process map is an operating framework, not a legal or accounting opinion.
